"To be able to use the Virus' vocoder please make sure you're sending an audio signal into the Virus's audio inputs. Then select one of the Vocoder presets at the end of Bank B (they use the letters "VOC" in their patch name). As soon as you have selected one of the Vocoder presets hold down either a chord or a note on your masterkeyboard and make sure the Virus is getting an audio signal fed into it's inputs. Then you should be able to hear the vocoded audio signal.If you barely can hear anything you might need to boost the Virus' Inputs with the help of the "INPUT BOOST" parameter from the effects' menu."
