10 Jahre Spirit Base Festival! Zum Jubiläum wandert das Festival heuer nach Rajka in Ungarn, 40 Minuten von Wien und 10 Minuten hinter der österreichischen Grenze. Die location ist auf einer 15 Hektar großen Insel in den Donauauen. Der Park- und Campingplatz liegt mitten in einer Plantage aus 1.500 blühenden Walnussbäumen, ein Badestrand ist gleich daneben. Das chinesische Jahr des Wasserdrachens ist das Motto für 2012. Der Mainfloor wird von der Ozora Deco Crew in Drachenform gebaut. 25 riesige Schwarzlichtbilder des Tirolers Psypix verschönern das Areal. Der zweite Floor spielt Tag und Nacht Progressive Trance und Chillout in einem großen Zirkuszelt, das von der englischen Deco-Truppe The Frogz reichhaltig dekoriert wird. Visuals und Projektionen kommen von El Geko, BuzzT (Psynema), dem Lustigen Astronauten und Sikanda. Die gigantische Lasershow stammt wieder von Kularis und den Speziallasern von Lasersystems. Mehr als 120 Liveacts und DJs aus 20 Ländern sind gebucht. Mc Coy’s SUN Project, Ultravoice, Psysex, Bamboo Forest, Aerospace, Alpha, Feuerhake, Bim und viele andere spielen Progressive, Darkpsy, Fullon, Morning Trance und Ambient. Neben einem Marketarea mit 30 Shops wird es ein eigenes Restaurantzelt geben. Das Festival startet am Mittwoch um Mitternacht mit einem 15minütigen Feuerwerk zum 10-Jahres-Jubiläum. Der Ort Rajka kann von Wien aus mit dem Zug erreicht werden. Von Rajka wird ein Shuttlebus bis zum Festival eingerichtet. Der Vorverkauf hat schon begonnen.
