ich bin noch am lesen, Deadmau5 und Schossow haben sich ja auch beide im Forum dazu geäussert...

naja, zuerst sagt er, dass es sein Management war und nachdem das als Lüge hingestellt wird, lässt er so richtig den Fiesling raus.

here's some real perspective:

deadrat6 was a piss-poor attempt at a 'joke', the music isn't close to deadmau5's, it is so crude/vulgar that a 12-year old could do better. IMO it was done out of spite as a personal attack on Joel and not deadmau5's music.

since I know some people involved on the event, here's how it very much went down:

deadmau5 to d5 mgmt-> 'Marcus Shotcow is that guy taking the piss'
d5 mgmt to promoter -> we're cancelling gig because of the billing
promoter to d5 mgmt -> we'll cancel the other act then

Shotcow was informed many days in advance to the gig but he decided to make publicity out of it / play the victim.

Sorry to see so many of you bite on it.

Kenn zwar von beiden eigentlich keine sets sondern nur produktionen, aber die sind von beiden doch recht geil, also hat er vl angst gehabt, dass Marcus ihn aus dem Club fegt....

Nix seine Produktionen, die find ich zum Großteil sehr gelungen, aber solche Starallüren find ich echt zum Kotzen...

Ich sag nur Wippenberg (Navida Night letztes Jahr) oder Marco V. (Tauchstation Supporter bei BBC Radio One im Guestmix bei Judge Jules und Gast der nächsten Navida Night) ... das sind für mich Stars zum "Anfassen", die kommen auch ohne solch ein Auftreten aus, und es macht sie sympatisch...

Wieviel werden von diesem Streit schon erfahren? Den meisten wird es egal sein, weil die sowieso nur auf seine Musik stehn und nicht auf ihn als Person!
Das find ich ja auch super in der elektronischen Musik. Du musst nicht das gewisse etwas in deinem Look haben und supertoll aussehn.
Es muss nur die Musik passen.

In der POP-Welt würd ich mal behaupten, hängt sehr viel von der Person ab, die den Song performt. Jetzt nicht nur wegen der Stimme, sondern auch wegen dem Aussehen.
Siehe Britney Spears, die sieht immer gut aus(ok, früher mal *g*) und hatte diese Innocent-Einstellung
Jede Boyband, alles Schönlinge
usw.

In der elektronischen Musik? Ich wette, midn 50% hier wissen nichtmal, wie Deadmau5 aussieht, aber hören seine Musik und finden sie toll(ich zb *g*)

Sicher war die Aktion arschlochmäßig von ihm, aber was solls. Mich interessiert eigentlich nur, dass er am 2.5 im Partyhouse ist und ein geiles Set abliefert, mehr will ich nicht. Ich denk auch, dass viele so denken, sonst würde das ganze ja ausarten, wie in der POP-Welt das sämtliche, noch so kleine, Skandale in der Öffentlichkeit(Bravo, MTV, ViVa, wasweißich) breitgetreten werden.
Die Musik soll im Mittelpunkt stehn und nicht das drumherum!

Ich denke auch, dass das Aussehen wesentlich uninteressanter ist als zb bei pop stars...
Aber ich denke, das in anderen Ländern, wo elektronische musik mehr verbreitet ist (GB, NL etc.) die Leute doch sehr interessieren wird wie sich so mancher dj in der Öffentlichkeit verhält. Ich meine er sollte vl nochmal nachdenken, wohin er eigentlich will... wenn er nur auf den kurzen Ruhm aus ist, wird es in ein paar monaten sowieso keinen mehr interessieren. Wenn er aber eine längere große karriere anstrebt sollte er sich doch überlegen, wie er sich zu verhalten hat, denn ich kenne eigentlich keinen großen Dj, der sich so verhält...
